the first anniversary of our vow renewal in Vegas was spectacular. We had a wonderful and relaxing day of casino hopping on Fremont Street. Finished out our day with Mythbusters Live. We laughed so hard our faces hurt!

We went to Spring Preseerve yesterday. Spring Preserve features desert life from all over Nevada. It also has several buildings devoted to sustainable living. I love the giant cactus!

We're loving the Golden Nugget! With our VIP pass, we pass all lines. Thanks to the American Casino Guide and the "you have to ask for it" Nugget fun book, we are eating breakfast for $5.94 and lunch for %7.06 each! The Golden Nugget is better than the buffet we paid $24.00 each for breakfast on the strip last Tuesday. I LOVE Fremont Street! Here's a shot of the pool from our Breakfast table. Check out the sharks tank in the middle of the pool.

WOW _ We met Emeril today! Emeril was doing a book signing at his Legasse's Stadium at the Palazo. Emeril fist-bumped Janet.

Just checked into our room on Fremont Street and have to say we love it! The Golden Nugget upgraded us to a suite! Check out the room - it's HUGE! Gotta love 2 flatc=screen TV's!

We went to the Venetian to check out the Genius of Da Vinci - a traveling display that studies the many aspects of Da Vinci. The display features several life size midels of Da Vinci machines and very impressive repros of some of his most famous paintings. The Venetian hotel is arguably the most beautiful resort in all of Vegas.

On our way to the Venetian we were able to check out the LINQ construction from the monorail. The LINQ is a 550 million dollar shopping and entertainment project going in between the Flamingo and Imperial Palace. The construction site is HUGE.

The Flamingo expanded it's tropical nature preserve - it's amazing that this can exist in the middle of the desert!!!

DAY 2 IN VEGAS!

Wow - we have done so much in such a short time! It's amazing how much one can do when one doesnt sleep! We went to Bobby Flays All American Bar and Grill - We never thought we would say this, but the Chicken Pot Pie here is better than the one at The Lady and Sons (Paula Deens)! Sorry for the hole in the picture of the pot pie - I was SOOOO hungry! Check out the cool Borg costumes regular people were running around in at the Star Trek convention at the Rio. Later we went to Caesar's for the best shopping on the planet. I had to take pics of the fountain and check in desk that were seen in the movie "The Hangover." The place still smells like Jack Galifinakis! Janet managed to find boots she liked at the Coach store (surprise - surprise)! Later we did the Harrah's 24 hour buffet pass. the crab legs in Vegas are the best! The even saw the legs so they don't require any effort to dig into. So far, I've put away 9 plates of Shrimp and Crab. When I finish this blog entry, I'm going downstairs for more! A 24 hour all you can eat pass is only $44.99 for Gold Club Members. Had to throw in a shot of my Breakfast at Le Village Buffet at Paris too.
