Thanks for checking out our Honey Boo Boo tour blog. Please scroll to the bottom of the page and work your way up to view the blog in the order that it happened. Click on the photos to blow them up.

We rounded out the day with dinner at the very upscale Atlanta Fish Market. Thanks so much to Brenda and Cayce for making this wild and wonderful excursion happen!

While at the Piggly Wiggly we met Susan who's daughter is Honey Boo Boo's Aunt. (try to figure that one out!). Based on the grill and the vajigga jaggle - she's got to be family! I asked Susan to smile big for the photo!

We went shopping at the Piggly Wiggly in Milledgeville where the fam shops.

The Fun Factory in Milledgeville where Alana and Shuga Bear went on their date.

We were planning to eat at Crockett's Family Cafeteria, but it is closed on Saturdays.

There's nothing creepier than a huge closed mental hospital. We read online that there are 25,000 people buried in mostly unmarked graves here.

After McIntyre, we headed to Milladgeville where a lot of the show actually takes place. Along the way to downtown Milldgeville we stopped at the now closed Central State Mental hospital.

Janet and Cayce in Flash Foods where Honey Boo Boo and her sisters hang out and go for snacks.

Check out the McIntyre post office and city hall.

We read online about Honey Boo Boo's neighbors complaining that the show gave a bad impression of the area - portraying it as a dirt poor city . Based on the neighbor's houses below, June and Shuga have one of the best houses in town.

Another shot of the house with Christmas lights still in place.

The tracks are pretty close on this side of the house too. The pool from last season is still up. June is right - "Shuga Bear aint a good puttin stuff together man."

Check out how close their garage is to the railroad tracks.

If you look closely you can see June's brass deer on the porch.

Shuga Bear's truck was there, but the fam was gone. They now have security on the property aroung the clock. The SUV behind Suga Bear's truck was filled with guards.

The town of McIntyre is extremely difficult to find. There was only 1 road leading to the town and that road looked like the entrance to a church parking lot. We took the road, saw Flash Foods, the only business in town, parked the car, looked up the street and there is was - the Honey Boo Boo house. From the shouts, one would have thought we had climbed Mt Everest!

Once we got of of I-20 to head to McIntyre - Honey Boo boo's home town - things got country quickly. Check out the spelling at this roadside stand.

Along the way we passed through one of Atlanta's wealthier neighborhoods. The top shot is the Atlanta White House - a repro of the one in Washington. The bottom shot is my niece Cayce's favorite house. Houses in Atlanta are 2 - 3 times what the same house would cost in Colonial Heights - the people that own these mansions must be loaded!

The Honey Boo Boo adventure begins! We had a wonderfully filling meal at the Macaroni Grill before heading out. About half way to McIntyre, we saw a Krystal Burger. Even though we were all still stuffed from lunch, we had to get a couple of Krystals. Check out the bun in this shot - greasy but soo gooood!

The Honey Boo Boo tour 2012

We're packing our bags tonight - getting ready for our flight to Atlanta and our drive to McIntyre Georgia on Saturday.
